Margo's devoted mum, Joanne, has shared a bit about their journey to finding the perfect treats that keep Margo happy and healthy. When I first welcomed Margo into my life, she had no known allergies and enjoyed a variety of foods, including chicken and turkey. However, I noticed her scratching incessantly, which eventually led to her ears becoming red, scratched, and even bleeding. It was heart-breaking to see her so uncomfortable.
Determined to help her, I decided to eliminate chicken and turkey from her diet, including all related treats. The change was remarkable. Since making this adjustment, Margo hasn't itched once, and her ears have completely healed.
Our journey to find the right treats brought us to Petto, and we haven't looked back since. Margo absolutely loves Petto treats, and they're the first plant-based treats she's ever tried. Unlike other large and hard treats that she doesn't enjoy, Petto treats are perfectly sized and easy to break up for use in her enrichment toys or during our walks.
One thing I've noticed is that other plant-based treats often have a strong fragrance that Margo dislikes, but Petto treats strike the perfect balance. They smell great without being overwhelming, making them Margo's favourite by far.
